Welcome to Emily Hodge Interior Design

With 15 years of industry experience, I have touched nearly every facet of the design business from furnishing large luxury homes to fully redesigning multi-family apartment buildings in Chicago to student housing projects in Alabama. I have finally settled in Charlotte, North Carolina with a focus on bespoke residences for families creating their forever homes.

As EHD continues to grow, we find ourselves more ingrained in space planning than ever before. Space planning is the less talked about side of interior design, though it is absolutely required when designing a properly customized home. It requires training and an extreme level of detail. In essence, we take plans from the architect and [over] analyze every inch of the interior so that each room is tailored to the habits of those who will live within - from millwork to to customized lighting plans and furnishings - we think through how these pieces will live up to our Clients' needs...and then we make them beautiful.
