Emily Hodge Design is a service driven Interior Design and Project Management firm. Our thrill is in juxtaposing modern lines with raw materials, textures and classical architectural details. Our goal is to provide a seamless client experience from inspiration to execution.

A graduate of Chicago's Harrington College of Design, Emily began her career studying under Nate Berkus Associates and London's Kelly Hoppen before founding her namesake studio in 2013. After raising her family in Bermuda for seven years, EHD is now based in Charlotte, North Carolina, with commercial and residential projects across the nation.

The Aesthetic
The very first step is to determine the aesthetic direction of the home. We spend a significant amount of time learning about each client, their likes and dislikes, where they have traveled, all about their fashion sense, and how they intend to live in their home. Each of these insights together helps us develop a clear direction for how the home is to look and feel. Each of our projects has a distinct look, representing specifically the people who live within.

The Process
We offer a very systematic approach to our design process. Each project runs through Creative Concept, Schematic Design, Design Development, Budget/Bid Review and Implementation.
